DESIGN CONSULTATION
This is the first step in the design process. Our first meeting enables me to assess your space and discuss your requirements in detail.
As I learn about you and the way you use your home, I can suggest solutions to fulfill your individual needs.
This process can include
- Review of any plans you may have
- Determine individual requirements for each space
- Discuss use and functionality of the space
- Discuss your aesthetics – likes and dislikes
- Consider your Wishlist and existing items you would like to incorporate in the design
- Measure site in preparation for space planning and cabinetry design
- Budget
The initial consultation is a comprehensive 90 minute in-home discussion charged at $350.00 which will be invoiced prior to our meeting. After our consultation I will provide a detailed report on any recommendations I have made and you will have access to me via email or text for 7 days afterwards.
INTERIOR DESIGN
Mint House Interior Design offers a complete interior design service from initial concepts to project completion. This is a luxury bespoke service tailored to your needs. I take the stress out of building and renovating by guiding you through every step of the process.
This service can include –
- Computer drafted floor plans
- Cabinetry design including elevations and 3D perspectives
- Kitchen and bathroom design
- Fixture and finishes selections
- Colour consultancy
This package is individualised to your scope of works. A fee proposal will be provided prior to commencement of work.
INITIAL CONCEPTS
This stage provides you with space planning and initial design concepts in the form of mood boards and computer generated floor plans. This gives valuable feedback to ensure that a design direction is established that will solve the aesthetic and functional needs of your home. This is an in-home presentation and allowance is made for one round of revisions.
DESIGN DEVELOPMENT
From initial concepts, we move into more specific design development.
This is an in-house presentation of all designs and selections for your project which gives me the opportunity to assess selections and make changes where necessary. We determine the purpose of the spaces and examine the functionality of cabinetry.
DOCUMENT, COSTINGS AND PROCUREMENT
Once all aspects of the design brief are approved schedules are provided which outline product information and costings.
Custom joinery drawings will be provided for costing purposes from necessary trades.
PROJECT COMPLETION
Once all pieces have been delivered your project can be fully styled to provide a final reveal of your new space. Professional photography also takes place on completion of your project.
FURNITURE AND ACCESSORIES PACKAGE
If you are looking for a way to refresh your new space, Mint House can provide a furniture and accessories selection package. This derive begins with space planning and computer generated floor plans to ensure furniture selections are appropriate to the space. Moodboards are created to show how furniture will work within your space. On final approval schedules are provided which outline product information and costings. Furniture items and accessories with be purchased on the client’s behalf and delivered direct to sister. Where applicable trade discounts will be applied. Curtain installation and placement of artwork is also completed during this stage.
